Palestine was canceled also. I went back to Kauai to visit my friend Leah and take surfing lessons, it was awesome.
Currently I am waiting for my flight itinerary for Libya. I will be traveling through International Medical Corp http://internationalmedicalcorps.org/ to the town of Zintan http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zintan to "conduct Infection Control Trainings". I have a fresh, brand new passport and a travel Visa in progress. Both are in Washington, DC at the moment so I won't be leaving until I have them both in my hand and my flight will not be booked until then. The field personnel said, "tell her it is cold and to bring a heavy coat". Who would have thought?
